Country produced 87.046 million tons of crude steel, down 0.7% year-on-year
The latest reading data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China shows that my country's crude steel output fell sharply to 71.584 million tons in October, a year-on-year decrease of 23.3%, setting the lowest monthly crude steel output since March 2018. From January to October, my country produced 87.046 million tons of crude steel, down 0.7% year-on-year. This is the first time that my country's cumulative crude steel output growth rate has been negative this year.
